Arfa Butt

Arfa Butt serves as the Director and Board Chair at A New Direction, where efforts focus on enhancing cultural and creative engagement for children and young people. Additionally, Arfa holds the position of Director and Chair of the Board at Community Links Academy Trust, which supports students at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. Other roles include Advisory Board Member at the London Music Fund, Judge for the BET Awards and BET Hip Hop Awards, and Director of various initiatives, including those aimed at empowering young women and developing education partnerships at Utopia Music. With a rich history in music management from Viacom, including contributions to MTV channels and the creation of key African music content, Arfa has also consulted for the Amy Winehouse Foundation and served as a Sounds Like London Ambassador, promoting women in music.
