Aletta Huizenga

Aletta Huizenga is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience at Universiteit Utrecht since January 2006, currently serving as Directeur Human Resources. Previously, Aletta held positions such as Hoofd HR-beleid en expertise and Projectleider Interuniversitaire leergang HR adviseur, where responsibilities included designing and organizing a training program for HR advisors across all universities in the Netherlands. Aletta's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior P&O-adviseur within the Universitaire Bestuursdienst and Dienstencentra of UU, and as a P&O-adviseur within the Faculty of Arts at Utrecht University from October 1994 to January 2006. Academic qualifications include a doctoraal degree in Algemene Sociale Wetenschappen from Utrecht University and participation in various development programs, including the MD Pionierprogramma and the OBP Talent programma.
