Jo van Cauter

Jo Van Cauter is an Assistant Professor in the History of (Early Modern) Philosophy and a Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Utrecht University since September 2019. Previously, Jo Van Cauter served as a Lecturer at Leiden University's Institute of Political Science from January 2016 to September 2020 and worked as a Research Fellow at Universiteit Utrecht's Descartes Centre in April 2016. Jo Van Cauter also gained experience as a Visiting Student Research Collaborator at Princeton University in early 2012. Jo Van Cauter holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master’s Degree in Philosophy, as well as a Candidature (kandidaat) in Law, all from Ghent University.
