Koos Bax

Koos Bax is a lecturer in Science Education & Communication at Utrecht University since July 2020, where responsibilities include teaching courses such as Engaging Scientists with the Public, Communicating Science with the Public, and Internship Product Development. Additionally, Koos serves as the coordinator of the Teaching & Learning Lab, facilitating the use of innovative classrooms and technology for active learning, and oversees staffing for Utrecht Education Incentive Fund projects at the Freudenthal Institute. Previous roles include Communications Officer for the Freudenthal Institute and U-Talent, along with experience as a tutor, teaching assistant, and researcher. Koos has also completed internships focusing on educational development in various educational institutions and held positions in the retail sector, obtaining a Master's in Science Education & Communication and a Bachelor's in Biology from Utrecht University.
