Martin Everaert

Martin Everaert is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in the field of linguistics. Since April 2004, Martin has served as a Professor in the Linguistics department at Utrecht University. Previous roles include Executive Director at the Instituut voor de Nederlandse Taal from January to September 2016 and Executive Director at the Institute for Dutch Lexicology from January 2013 to January 2016. Martin also directed the Utrecht Institute of Linguistics OTS at Utrecht University from 2004 until September 2011. Educated at Utrecht University from 1972 to 1979, Martin holds a Drs degree in Dutch and Linguistics, having completed earlier education at Stanislas College from 1966 to 1972.
