Yesica Avila

Yesica Avila, CCP, has extensive experience in compensation and accounting, currently serving as the Compensation Manager at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley since April 2015, after progressing from the roles of Senior Compensation Analyst and Compensation Analyst. In these positions, Yesica has focused on supporting the Academic institution and the School of Medicine. Prior to this, Yesica worked as an Accountant in the Human Resources department at The University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley and held the role of General Ledger Accountant at South Texas College. Yesica began a professional career as a Staff Accountant at Smith, Fankhauser, Voight and Watson. Yesica holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas-Pan American, completed in 2004.
