Andres Osorio

Andres Osorio has extensive experience in fire safety engineering, materials flammability, and mechanical design. Currently working as a Product Team Lead and Mechanical Design and Systems Engineer at UTVATE, Andres previously served as a Lecturer at The University of Queensland and held roles at BlackPak Inc., UC Berkeley, and University of Central Florida. Andres's research interests include timber fire performance, natural fuels ignition, and development of low-cost fire measurement equipment. Andres has a strong background in conducting experiments, designing apparatus, and analyzing data related to fire safety and mechanical engineering.
