Celia Chambers

Celia Chambers is a Financial Specialist at UW Credit Union since August 2022, where responsibilities include providing financial education, budgeting advice, and assisting members with deposit accounts and loan applications. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Language Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program from August 2019 to July 2022, where Celia contributed to foreign language education and international exchange. Earlier roles include a Grant Writing Intern at Riverview Gardens, where research and grant requests were conducted, and multiple positions as an Interlibrary Loan Office Assistant at Lawrence University. Celia also served as a Cultural Ambassador with Iwaizumi City Government and completed an internship with the U.S. House of Representatives. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and East Asian Studies from Lawrence University and attendance at Waseda University.
