John Katers

John Katers serves as the Dean of the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology at UW-Green Bay since July 2016, overseeing budget, personnel, curriculum, strategic planning, and constituent relations. In addition, John is the President of JFK Environmental Engineering, a role held since 2000. Previous positions include Project Design Leader at Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. from February 2011 to June 2021, and Bioresources Development Manager at ENCAP, LLC from 2007 to 2013. Educational credentials include a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Marquette University, an MS in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, and a BS in Environmental Science and Business Administration from the same institution.
