Renee Sinden

Renee Sinden has a diverse range of work experience. Renee is currently serving as the Program Director, Strategic Portfolio Management at UW Health since February 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Project Manager, Corporate Strategy at UW Health from March 2020 to February 2022.

In 2018, Renee worked as a Consultant at WWF Namibia and IRDNC for a period of three months.

Previously, they served as a Business Advisor at Integrated Rural Development and Nature Conservation (IRDNC) - U.S. Peace Corps from April 2016 to June 2018. During this time, they were involved in improving productivity and reducing costs through the reorganization of NGO field operations. Renee also successfully designed and implemented a custom non-profit enterprise software system for handling budgets, financial statements, and donor reporting.

Before that, Renee held the position of Manager - Finance & Project Cost Controls at Alliant Energy from April 2007 to April 2016. Renee efficiently managed project and financial controls for 35 major capital projects with a total spend of $6 billion.

In 2006, they worked as the Acting Division Director at Robert Half Management Resources, leading consulting teams in projects such as forensic accounting/auditing, company reorganization, software system design and implementation, change management, acquisitions, and IPOs.

Renee Sinden obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Florida Metropolitan University, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. Renee completed their MBA in 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Renee Sinden obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2013. Renee also holds the Wicked Problem Solving Practitioner certification from the same institute, which they obtained in June 2021. Recently, in April 2022, they obtained the Kaplan-Norton Certified Practitioner certification in Balanced Scorecard from ESM Software.
