Thomas Schlesinger

Thomas Schlesinger is the Executive Director of the Climate Alliance for the Common Good, a position held since January 2020, where the focus is on raising public awareness about climate change and promoting actions to address it. Additionally, Thomas serves as Board President at the same organization, emphasizing the importance of local non-partisan dialogue to educate communities about climate facts and actionable solutions. Alongside this, Thomas has been an Associate Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse since January 2017. Previous experience includes roles as Executive Consultant and Senior Consultant at Gundersen Lutheran Health System, where Thomas contributed to developing patient satisfaction strategies and served in various research capacities. Thomas earned a Ph.D. in Political Science and Government from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, along with a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Portland State University and the University of Notre Dame, respectively. Early career positions included Systems Analyst at First Interstate Bank and Programmer Analyst at R.R. Donnelley & Sons.
