Mahmoud Patel

Mahmoud Patel has extensive academic and organizational experience, serving as a Scholar, Lecturer, Overall Coordinator, and Chairperson at the University of the Western Cape since January 2003. In addition, Mahmoud Patel has held the role of Executive Member and Chairperson at Kurdish Human Rights Action Group South Africa (KHRAG) since October 2015. Previously, Mahmoud Patel lectured at the Institute of European Studies and the University of Cape Town in 2012 and worked as a Senior Researcher at Imagine-o-creative solutions in 2007, focusing on data compilation and research design. Academic credentials include degrees from Stellenbosch University, the University of the Western Cape, and Howard University.
