Ricardo Davids

Ricardo Davids is an experienced professional in the fields of library ICT, digital media, and graphic design. As the Manager of Library ICT & Innovations at the University of the Western Cape since November 2015, Ricardo oversees technological advancements within the library. Concurrently, at the University of Stellenbosch since January 2012, Ricardo serves as an Administrative Officer focusing on digitization and e-repository management. Additionally, since April 2014, Ricardo contributes as a Layout Editor for the African Population Studies Journal, ensuring quality layout for journal articles. As the owner of RAD Design PTY LTD since 2008, Ricardo specializes in the customization and installation of open-source content management systems and provides traditional graphic and web design services. Prior roles include Acting Production Head and Senior Graphic Designer at Media24. Ricardo holds a National Diploma in Graphic Design from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, completed in 2001.
