Howard Shand

Howard Shand is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital media, database management, and information technology. Currently serving as the Digital Media & Database Manager at The University of the West Indies since August 2015, Howard oversees the management of the UWI Alumni Online Community, social media channels, and various database and website functions. Previous roles include Computer and Information Systems Manager at the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency and Information Technology Officer at the Jamaica Constabulary Staff College, where responsibilities encompassed IT solutions implementation and comprehensive database management. Additionally, Howard held social media consultancy positions and graphic/web design roles at various organizations, demonstrating a robust skill set in project management and client relations. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Public Sector Management from the University of the West Indies.
