Mael Aoustin

Mael Aoustin has a diverse and extensive work experience in the real estate and retail industries. Mael is currently serving as the Group CEO and President of the Management Board at UXCO Group, a leading real estate investor, developer, and operator in student housing. Prior to this, they were the CEO of Galimmo, a listed company in France, where they managed a portfolio of 66 shopping centers in four countries. Mael also held the position of Group Director of M&A and Real Estate at Groupe Louis Delhaize, where they were responsible for overseeing the company's real estate operations in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Romania. Additionally, Mael has worked at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, where they served as Group Director of Leasing and Senior VP for Europe, overseeing leasing activities and managing global partnerships with retailers. Mael has also held various roles at Oliver Wyman and has experience in acquisitions, asset management, and investment management in the real estate sector. In addition to their roles in the real estate industry, they are a Board Member and Independent Director at Mercialys, a leading French real estate company specializing in retail spaces.

Mael Aoustin obtained a General Engineer degree in Industrial and Project Management from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Brunel University London. Lastly, they attended HEC Paris and completed a Specialized Master degree in Strategic Management.
