Lara Colombo

Lara Colombo is currently a PhD Researcher at UZ Gent, focusing on neuroscience and 3D functional genomics, while also collaborating with the Neurogenomics Research Center at Human Technopole since November 2022. Lara has previous experience as a Bioinformatics Intern at both the Neurogenomics Research Centre, where work centered on genomic regulatory circuits related to brain dysfunction, and at the Center on Autoimmune and Allergic Diseases, where the project involved identifying co-regulators for the TFEB transcription factor. Academically, Lara holds Master's degrees in Bioinformatics for Computational Genomics from both Università degli Studi di Milano and Politecnico di Milano, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale. Education also includes a High School Diploma from Liceo Scientifico Tirinnanzi.
