Mueed Ahmad

Mueed Ahmad is an experienced Process Engineer at Micron Technology since November 2024, specializing in process development and technology transfer for DRAM cell modules. Responsibilities include performing failure analysis, coordinating process evaluations, leading yield improvement activities, and managing material suppliers for quality and risk management. Mueed also serves as a PhD Student Researcher at Brookhaven National Laboratory, focusing on the development of sub-15 nm metal-oxide films, while having previously worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University, supporting materials science courses. Prior experience includes a role as a Project Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where Mueed synthesized and characterized various silver particle morphologies. Mueed holds a PhD in Materials Sciences from Stony Brook University, an MTech in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.
