Stijn van Hees

Stijn Van Hees is a resident in laboratory medicine at UZ Gent since October 2023, currently serving as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Antwerp's laboratory of Experimental Medicine and Paediatrics since October 2020. Previously, Stijn held positions as a resident in laboratory medicine at AZ Sint-Maarten and ASZ Aalst, and completed a PhD in medicine focusing on chronic Hepatitis B infections at UAntwerpen from 2015 to 2020. Stijn gained research experience during an internship at the University of Szeged and worked as a pharmacist intern at apotheek Brecx. Education includes an Advanced Master in Clinical Biology from Ghent University and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in pharmacy from the University of Antwerp.
