Lieven Moke, MD, PhD, currently serves as the Chairman of Orthopaedic Surgery at UZ Leuven since October 2019 and holds the position of Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at KU Leuven since June 2019. Moke has been the Head of the Orthopaedic Spine Unit at University Hospitals Leuven, Belgium, since August 2010. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the Faculteit Geneeskunde KU Leuven Faculty of Medicine (1997-2004), High Honours in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology from KU Leuven (2004-2010), a Doctor in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven (2012-2018), and a Harvard Medical School Scholar in Surgical Leadership from Harvard Medical School (2018-2019).
