Alexia de Beukelaer

Alexia De Beukelaer is a highly experienced molecular technologist with a diverse background in laboratory management and technical expertise in liquid biopsies. Currently serving as a Molecular Technologist and Study Coordinator for clinical studies at UZA since August 2022, Alexia previously held the position of Head Laboratory Technologist of the Pathology Lab at medina | cma | lko-lmc | akl from November 2019 to August 2022. With extensive experience at HistoGeneX from May 2008 to August 2019, notable roles included optimizing processes related to liquid biopsy and maintaining advanced laboratory techniques. Alexia began their career in various roles, including Laboratory Technologist in Anatomical Pathology at St-Elisabeth Hospital Herentals and positions at Riatol, focusing on molecular diagnostics and fertility testing. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology from Rega Leuven, attained between 1992 and 1995.
