Derek Garnett

Derek Garnett is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in test automation and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Test Automation Engineer at UZURV since November 2019, Derek is responsible for building and maintaining automated test suites using technologies such as Java and Selenium. Previously, Derek held various roles at the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), including team lead for the architecture team, Senior Test Automation Engineer, and Automation Engineer II, where responsibilities encompassed developing RESTful Web APIs and automated testing frameworks. Other notable positions include Senior QA Specialist at MyTaskit and Automation Test Lead at the Federal Reserve System, among others. Derek holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Radford University, completed in 2004.
