Osman Olgen

Head of Global Support at V-Count

Osman Olgen has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Osman began their career in 1994 as a Technical Support Specialist at Aknet A.Ş. Osman then worked at Sun Microsystems from 1999 to 2010, beginning as a Strategic Support Engineer and eventually becoming the Country Technical Manager of Turkey. From 2010 to 2018, they were the Partner Service Delivery Manager responsible for the South Eastern Europe region at Oracle. In 2018, they became the Consulting Manager at BTC Bilişim Hizmetleri, a multinational Germany-based company. Currently, they are the Head of Global Support at V-Count, where they have managed a team of 26 people to drive presales and support functions of the company globally. Osman has also transformed the support organization from a disorganized group of people to a well-disciplined and structured team, and developed over 90 support partners worldwide to deliver high-quality support to end customers.

Osman Olgen attended Orta Dogu Teknik Üniversitesi from 1990 to 1994 and obtained a degree in Computer Engineering with a 3.41 GPA. Prior to that, they attended Samsun Anatolian High School from 1983 to 1990, where they studied Mathematics and Science. In 2001, they obtained a Kepner Tregoe Analytical Trouble Shooting Trainer certification from Kepner-Tregoe.
