Currently serving as Brand Head for Skybags at VIP Industries Limited since May 2023, Smita focuses on brand and category management to enhance market share and profitability. Prior roles include VP Marketing and Commercial at Cartamundi, where strategic marketing initiatives were implemented for the Indian market, and Chief Marketing Officer at Safari Industries India Ltd., a leader in the luggage sector. Smita's initial career foundation was established at Luxottica as Senior Brand Manager and at Fluor Corporation as an Electrical Design Engineer. Smita holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
