Senior FPGA Engineer at V-Nova Ltd.

Manuel Aranaz Padrón has a diverse work experience in the field of hardware engineering. Manuel started their career at Telecom Bretagne, where they worked on academic projects involving the adaptation of algorithms for hardware implementation and the design of a traffic generator using FPGA-based systems. Manuel then completed an internship at Zodiac Aerospace, where they developed and tested an electronic system for linearizing a telemetry transmitter. Manuel later joined Imagination Technologies as a Hardware Engineer, assisting in the development of Power VR Graphics GPU for mobile devices. Currently, Manuel works at V-Nova Ltd., initially as an FPGA Engineer and later promoted to Senior FPGA Engineer. In their current role, they design and develops hardware modules for processing live digital video signals, including RTL design and integration of third-party IP.

Manuel Aranaz Padrón has a diverse education history. Manuel obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Digital Electronics from Telecom Bretagne, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from 2008 to 2011. During this period, they pursued studies in various fields including Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Signal Processing, and Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Manuel also holds various certifications. In 2017, they completed a course on "Computation Structures: Computer Architecture" at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Manuel has also acquired several certifications related to Integrated Circuits from institutions such as Cadence Design Systems and Synopsys Inc. Manuel's certification in "Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) for Integrated Circuits" and "Integrated Circuits Verification using System Verilog" were obtained in 2014. Furthermore, they obtained the "Design Compiler I - Synthesis of Integrated Circuits" certification from Synopsys Inc in 2014 as well.

Finally, in 2011, Manuel achieved the "First Certificate in English" from the University of Cambridge, showcasing their proficiency in the English language.
