Anise al Assar

Anise Al Assar has extensive experience in facilities and construction management. Anise is currently the Program Director for Facilities and Construction Management at the University of Houston, a role they started in November 2021. Prior to this, Anise held the position of Facilities Management / Real Property Director at VECTRUS SYSTEMS CORPORATION from 2018 onwards.

Before joining VECTRUS, Anise worked as the Facilities Maintenance Manager at United Development Company (UDC) from 2015 to 2017. Anise also gained valuable experience as the Facilities and Maintenance Manager at DIFC from 2011 to 2015, and as the Facilities Department Manager at Aswaq Management and Services from 2008 to 2011.

Anise's career in facilities management began at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs innovations, where they served as a Sr. Project Manager from 1999 to 2003. Anise also worked as a General Manager at EMCOR Facilities Services from 2005 to 2007 and as an Area Manager at Zamil Air Conditioners from 2003 to 2005.

Anise started their professional journey as a Facilities Coordinator at Zayed University from 1996 to 1999, where they gained valuable experience in coordinating and managing facilities operations.

Overall, Anise Al Assar's extensive work experience spans over two decades, and they have held various managerial and leadership roles in the field of facilities and construction management.

Anise Al Assar, ME MBA, earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from New York Institute of Technology in the years 1982 to 1986. Later, in the year 2009 to 2010, Anise completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from La Hay Global University. Anise Al Assar also holds additional certifications in various fields such as project management, communications, and occupational safety.
