Jurka Rahikkala

Jurka Rahikkala has over fifteen years of experience in corporate IT, with a focus on invoicing and A/R ledger management. Jurka is currently the COO at Vaadin, a software development company, where they have been responsible for establishing short term and long term needs with local business units, creating an operating and governance model between service unit and local business units, creating SLAs with BUs, developing a common production system, rolling out the system and participation in corporate wide sales cases. Prior to their work at Vaadin, Rahikkala spent six years at Lindorff Group, where they were first Vice President, Head of Invoice Supply, and then Vice President, Group Head of Invoice. In this latter position, they were responsible for creating a strategy for the product line including vision, mission, and business and operating model. After this work a group wide program was launched to implement the strategy; Rahikkala worked as a program manager in the program.

Jurka Rahikkala has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Software Engineering from Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, an MSc in Computer science from Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, and a Matriculation examination from Nokia secondary school. Jurka also has a certification from Bureau Veritas in Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2008 Series (IRCA), a certification from - in ITIL Foundation V3, a certification from - in Sun Certified Programmer for Java2 Platform, and a certification from - in Microsoft Certified System Engineer. In addition, they have a certification from Finnish Defence Force in Second Lieutenant and a certification from Emergency First Response Corp. in Emergency First Reponse Primary and Secondary care.
