Ibrahim Kamal

Ibrahim Kamal is a Senior Geologist at VAALCO Energy, Inc, since October 2022, working collaboratively with reservoir engineers on well location development and presenting recommendations to management. Previously, Ibrahim held the position of Senior Geologist at TransGlobe Energy Corporation from September 2012 to September 2022, where responsibilities included reviewing offset well data and evaluating concessions in the Eastern Desert. Earlier experience includes roles as an Operation Geologist, managing wellsite geologists, and as an Exploration Geologist at El Paso Egypt Production Company, focusing on well recommendation reports and on-site geological tasks. Ibrahim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from Alexandria University, obtained in 2007.
