Computer Vision Research at Vaarst

Eduardo Ruiz has been working in the field of computer vision research since 2013. Eduardo began their career as a PhD Researcher at the University of Bristol, where they developed real-time detection/classification algorithms for 3D data. Eduardo also worked as a Teaching Assistant and Postgraduate Student during this time. From 2010-2013, Eduardo worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, Research Internship, and Instructor/Scholar at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. In 2019, they began working at Rovco as a Computer Vision Research and is currently employed in the same role at Vaarst since 2021.

Eduardo Ruiz began their educational journey in 2007 at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechatronics in 2012. Eduardo then continued their studies at the University of Bristol, earning a Master of Science in Machine Learning, Data Mining and High Performance Computing in 2014. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the University of Bristol in 2019.
