Leo Duren

Leo Duren, SHRM-CP, has extensive experience in human resources and people operations. Leo'smost recent role was as the Director of People Operations at Vac-Con, Inc. In this position, they are responsible for overseeing all HR functions.

Prior to this, Leo worked as a Human Resources Manager at CarParts.com, where they supported HR and operational activities at a distribution center in Jacksonville, Florida.

Leo also served as a Multi-Site Human Resources Manager at JAC Products, where they provided strategic HR support for multiple locations, including responsibilities in safety, recruiting, training, compliance, and data analytics.

Before JAC Products, Leo worked as a Regional Human Resources Manager at JELD-WEN, supporting production and distribution operations in Florida.

Leo has previous experience at Cargill, where they held multiple HR roles, including HR Manager, Assistant HR Manager, HR Generalist, and Recruiting Specialist.

Leo began their career as a Human Resources Supervisor at Pilgrim's and later held the same position at Sanderson Farms.

Leo also served as a Continuous Improvement Advisor at Pilgrim's and an ESL Instructor at Paris Junior College. Overall, Leo Duren has a diverse background in HR and has held various leadership positions throughout their career.

Leo Duren, SHRM-CP, has a bachelor's degree in Spanish from Brigham Young University, which was obtained between the years 2002 and 2003. In addition to their degree, Leo has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2004, they became a Certified Trainer from Development Dimensions International and AchieveGlobal. Leo further expanded their qualifications in 2016 by obtaining a certification as an Employment Learning Innovations (ELI) Certified Trainer and as a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM.
