Debra Lauby started their education by attending Our Lady of Perpetual Help High School from 1971 to 1975. Debra then enrolled at the City University of New York-College of Staten Island from 1975 to 1977, where they pursued a degree in Business Science with a focus on Computer and Information Sciences. In 1992, Debra studied Desktop Publishing at Brooklyn College for a short period of time, before moving on to Kingsborough Community College from 1992 to 1993. At Kingsborough, they pursued a degree in Systems Design and Management.
