Bahadır Özkan

Bahadır Bozkurt serves as the Founder Director of the Technology Transfer Office at İstanbul Yeni Yüzyıl Üniversitesi since April 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing various modules related to technology transfer, project development, and entrepreneurship. Previously, Bahadır held the position of Senior Researcher at İstanbul Arel Üniversitesi from October 2018 to March 2022, managing financial and technical aspects of a significant project focused on advanced engineering materials. Earlier experience includes roles as a Researcher at Doğuş Üniversitesi, where contributions were made to projects concerning urban terrorism and ballistic products, and as a Quality Engineer at Ballı Metal, ensuring quality standards in the automotive sector. Additional experience includes positions as a Senior Cost Analyst at MARTUR FOMPAK International and internships in various engineering roles. Bahadır is currently pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at İstanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, having completed a Master of Engineering and additional qualifications in Occupational Safety and Health Technology and Mechanical Engineering.
