Katie L. has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, with their most recent position being the Director of Risk Management & Patient Safety at Vail Health. Prior to that, they worked as the Quality Improvement Advisor at Rocky Mountain Health Plans, where they facilitated practice transformation by building strong relationships with quality improvement teams and implementing new healthcare delivery models. Katie also served as the Director of Performance Improvement at Valley View Hospital, where they oversaw quality improvement initiatives and implemented evidence-based practices. Additionally, they worked as a Quality Management Assistant at Adirondack Medical Center, where they collected and analyzed quality data for various projects and supported committee meetings.

Katie L. received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from The Colorado College in 1994. In 2012, they completed their Masters of Science in Patient Safety Leadership from the University of Illinois Chicago.
