Shannon Fergus

Shannon Fergus has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Shannon currently holds the position of HR Business and Project Coordinator at Vail Health since June 2022. Prior to this, Shannon worked at Vail Resorts for several years in various roles including Executive Assistant from May 2019 to June 2022, Administrative Coordinator from August 2017 to April 2019, and Administrative Assistant from October 2015 to July 2017. Before joining Vail Resorts, Shannon worked as a Child Care Provider for various families from 2005 to 2017, where they supervised and cared for children. Shannon also worked as a Program Leader at Rustic Pathways in 2015 and as a Recreation Leader at Vail Recreation District in 2014. Shannon's early work experience includes roles as a Counselor and Program Leader at Rustic Pathways in 2013 and as an Indoor Operations Supervisor at Vail Resorts from November 2014 to April 2015. Additionally, Shannon has experience as a Receptionist at Wanaka Luxury Apartments from May 2012 to November 2012 and as a Live-in Au Pair from February 2012 to September 2012.

Shannon Fergus attended Saint Michael's College from 2007 to 2011, where they pursued a major in Business Administration and a minor in Management and Finance. During their time at Saint Michael's College, they did not obtain a specific degree. In 2009, Shannon participated in a semester abroad program with Boston University International Programs at the Auckland University of Technology. At AUT, Shannon took courses in Hospitality Human Resource Management and Marketing Management.

In addition to their education, Shannon has obtained a 144 Hour TESOL Certificate from LanguageCorps and an Advanced Open Water SCUBA Diver certification from PADI. The specific months and years when these certifications were obtained are not provided.
