David Knecht

David Knecht currently works as a Rental Shop Technician at Bromley Mountain Resort since February 2025 and as a Sr. Coordinator IT – PC Technician at Vail Resorts since November 2023. Knecht has prior experience as a Geographic Information Systems Technician with the Executive Office of Technology Services and Security in Massachusetts, where the focus was on integrating GIS solutions for enhanced mapping services. Previous roles include analyst positions at Motional and Aurora, where GIS methodology was applied to develop driverless technology and autonomous vehicle platforms, respectively. Earlier experiences encompass production specialist roles at Uber and Adecco Staffing, a laboratory technician position at RJ Lee Group, and an instructor role at Okemo Mountain Resort. Knecht holds a degree in Geographical Information Systems & Spatial Analysis from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS in Geology/Earth Science from Juniata College.
