Derek Mann

Derek Mann, BBA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data engineering and management. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Reporting & Data Engineering at Vail Resorts since September 2022, Derek has successfully built and led a team of data engineers to oversee data pipeline development and collaborate with various software vendors. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director of Business Insights at UnitedHealthcare, where Derek managed an extensive team analyzing and reporting complex data, and as a Lieutenant/Firefighter at Hopkins Fire Department since 2006, contributing to department operations and emergency response. Additionally, Derek has held positions as a Consultant/Senior Data Analyst at Seagate Technology and as a Senior Data Exchange Analyst at U.S. Bank, demonstrating a strong background in data analysis and reporting. Derek holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
