Sierra Adams is an accomplished philanthropy professional with extensive experience in grant development and donor relations. Currently serving as Vice President of Philanthropy at the Vail Valley Foundation since November 2020, Sierra leads a strategic grants program focused on education, the performing arts, and community development. Prior to this role, Sierra held significant positions, including Director of Foundation & Institutional Giving at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts, where responsibilities included developing funding proposals for various operational needs, and Manager of Foundation & Government Relations at Pennsylvania Ballet, managing grant proposals for diverse funding sources. Sierra's career also includes vital roles at Martha's Vineyard Museum, Dances for a Variable Population, The Yard, Inc., and Boston Ballet. Sierra holds a Master of Science in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Dance from Connecticut College.
