Marco Casagrande

A master of science in engineering by education, Marco Casagrande made 223 league appearances for TPS Turku between 1993 and 2005, scoring 28 league goals. In the latter stages of his active career, he was also chairman of the Finnish players' association.

After retiring from professional football in autumn 2005, Casagrande stayed at TPS, first as a coach and later as development director (2006-08) and sporting director (2008-09). In 2009, he was appointed CEO of the Turku club.

In April 2013, Casagrande was appointed general secretary of the Football Association of Finland (SPL-FBF).
