Taneli Haara

Head of Region, South & Head of Club Development at Football Association of Finland (SPL)

Taneli Haara has extensive work experience in the football industry. Taneli started their career in 2004 as a Grassroots Manager at the Football Association of Finland, Uusimaa. Taneli then became a Development Manager at the Football Association of Finland in 2008, where they worked until November 2019. During their time there, they held the positions of Head of Region and Head of Club Development (south).

Taneli Haara pursued their education at the University of Jyväskylä from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Master's degree in Physical Education. Additionally, they attended The University of Edinburgh in the years 2002 and 2003. During this time, they focused on studying Sport Management and Sociology of Sport, although they did not specify a particular degree.
