Taru Nyholm

Taru Nyholm is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Head Of Communications at the Football Association of Finland since August 2018. Previous roles include Entrepreneur at Taru & Totuus from 2015 to 2018, focusing on sport journalism and communication and marketing in sports, and Development Coordinator at Vantaan Jalkapalloseura from 2013 to 2015, where responsibilities involved business development and football coaching. Early experience as a Sports Instructor at Näkövammaisten liitto from 2007 to 2011 contributed to a solid foundation in sports. Taru Nyholm holds a Professional Specialisation Studies degree in Sports Journalism from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Sports Studies in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from Lapland University of Applied Sciences. Currently, Taru Nyholm is pursuing a Degree Programme in Communication Manager at the Management Institute of Finland MIF Oy.
