Harjot Singh

Harjot Singh has held various positions in the tech industry since 2016. In 2016, they worked as a PHP Developer at Daphnis Labs, where they were responsible for building projects from scratch and designing databases and building server architecture on AWS and DigitalOcean. From 2017 to 2021, Harjot Singh worked at DBS Bank as a Software Engineer, where they worked on Big Data Hot/Cold Data Loader (Cheetah), a distributed Spring boot application with Scala used to dump data from Hadoop into MariaDb for user access. Harjot also worked on India Unsecured Lending, a Spring boot application to manage state and act as intermediate between 3rd party applications. From 2017-2018, Harjot Singh was a Google Code In Mentor at the Wikimedia Foundation. In 2017, they were also a Google Summer of Code Developer at the Wikimedia Foundation, where they worked on updating and upgrading the MediaWiki Quiz extension used by several WMF projects. Currently, Harjot Singh is a Development Lead and Senior Software Developer at VAKT Global Ltd.

Harjot Singh completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computers from Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering between 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they attended Tagore International School New Delhi.
