Andrea Cabbia

Andrea Cabbia is a Senior Data Engineer Consultant at Valcon since September 2023, previously serving as a Data Engineer at GRASP Innovations from November 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities included the implementation of an event-based data pipeline in Google Cloud Platform, API development in Python (Django) and PostgreSQL, and managing infrastructure in Terraform. Prior experience includes a role as a Doctoral Student at TU/e Eindhoven University of Technology from September 2016 to November 2021, focusing on the Systems Biology of Aging, and an internship in metabolic modeling within the Computational Biology group in the Biomedical Engineering department at Eindhoven University of Technology. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna (2013-2016) and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Padova (2009-2012).
