Nikodem Olsavsky

Nikodem Olsavsky began their work experience as a Warehouse Worker at Arla Foods amba in 2015 and held this role until 2019. In 2017, they worked as a Business Development Intern at Gateway International, where they managed a digitization project, developed a new website, and conducted B2B outreach. From 2018 to 2019, Nikodem served as a Market Researcher at Aspectu - Business Intelligence for Public Procurement. In 2019, they worked as a Junior Data Analyst at PatentRenewal.com. Starting in 2019, Nikodem joined MAN Energy Solutions as a Business Intelligence Specialist, where they transferred data analysis and reporting from Excel and PowerPoint into Power BI. Nikodem also designed a small data warehouse and data pipelines for automated reporting and built predictive models for estimating future sales based on CRM opportunities. In 2020, Nikodem became a Teaching Assistant at Copenhagen Business School. Currently, they work as a Data Engineer/Scientist at Valcon, starting in November 2022.

Nikodem Olsavsky began their education journey in 2010 at Gymnázium Lipany, where they completed their secondary education. In 2014, they enrolled at Kobenhavns erhvervsakademi and pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics & IT, which they successfully completed in 2018.

Seeking further knowledge and skills, Nikodem joined Copenhagen Business School in 2019 and pursued an MSc. in Business Administration and Information Systems, specializing in Data Science. Nikodem completed this program in 2021.

During their time at Copenhagen Business School, Nikodem also became a credit student at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2020. Here, they explored advanced topics in Natural Language Processing.

Additionally, Nikodem engaged in a short-term study abroad opportunity at Deakin University in 2016, within the Faculty of Business and Law.

In terms of certifications, Nikodem has acquired several credentials. In 2022, they obtained the certification of Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate, demonstrating their proficiency in data engineering. In 2023, they further expanded their knowledge with certifications as a Databricks Certified Machine Learning Associate and a Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0. Moreover, they completed Partner Training - Solutions Architect Essentials, enhancing their skills in designing solutions within the Databricks environment.
