Sarah Dalton

Sarah Dalton is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in hydrology and geotechnical engineering. Since April 2021, Sarah has served as Project Lead at Vale, focusing on Projects and Shutdown Delivery. Prior roles include Mineral Development Engineer with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and Geotechnical Engineer at Stantec. With expertise in hydrogeology from tenure at Rio Tinto Iron Ore Company of Canada, Sarah has conducted various assessments and project executions, including dewatering strategies and water management plans. Academic qualifications include a degree in Geological Engineering with a focus on Geo-Environmental studies from the University of New Brunswick. Additionally, early experience includes testing asphalt and aggregate quality for the Department of Transportation.
