Lu Zhu

Scientist, Computational Design at Valence Discovery

Lu Zhu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2013, they worked as a Bioinformatics Intern at Sichuan University. They continued to gain experience in bioinformatics through an internship at INSTITUT DE MYOLOGIE in 2014, where they developed a web-based bioinformatic tool called CellWhere. In 2016, Lu Zhu worked as a Visiting PhD Researcher at Simon Fraser University. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of Data Scientist at Valence, where they stayed until 2020. From October 2020 onwards, Lu Zhu worked as a Scientist in Computational Design at Valence. Overall, their work experience demonstrates expertise and growth in the areas of bioinformatics, data science, and computational design.

Lu Zhu completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioinformatics at Université Paris Cité from 2011 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Bioinformatics at the same university from 2012 to 2014. Finally, Lu Zhu obtained a PhD in Bioinformatics from Bielefeld University between 2014 and 2018.
