Angela Bonilla-Patterson

Angela Bonilla-Patterson serves as the College Success Coordinator for Horizon Scholars at Valencia College since February 2022, where responsibilities include providing support to over 350 high school students, facilitating workshops, creating survey analyses, and coordinating various student programming. Previous experience includes roles as a High School English Teacher at Orange County Public Schools and Miami-Dade County Public Schools, where Angela focused on fostering collaboration and respect for diversity while employing data-driven lesson plans. Additional positions include customer service roles at DASI and Groupe Dynamite, volunteer work with the Jason Taylor Foundation, and internships in sports journalism with CBS4 and community relations with the Miami Dolphins. Angela holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from Barry University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Florida International University.
