Poorna Mane, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in program management and commercialization within the medical technology sector. Currently serving as Director of Program Management and Commercialization at Valencia Technologies since June 2022, Poorna previously held significant leadership roles, including Director of Strategic Programs at Sonova Group and Program Management Director at Neural Analytics, where notable achievements included launching a pioneering robotic ultrasound system and developing cost-effective ultrasound probes. Earlier experience encompasses a Senior Program Manager role at Advanced Bionics, where Poorna contributed to the development of innovative cochlear implant systems and various product enhancements. With a solid academic foundation that includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, Poorna has also contributed to research as a fellow at the University of Michigan and General Motors Technical Institute, and has worked at prestigious organizations such as NASA and EOS Inc.
