Sharon Balasubramanian

Sharon Balasubramanian is a Senior Engineer at Valeo since October 2021, specializing in finite element analysis (FEA) simulations, including linear and non-linear analysis, durability assessments, and random vibration using solvers such as ABAQUS, OPTISTRUCT, and RADIOSS. Prior to this role, Sharon worked at Valeo from October 2019 to July 2021 as a Design FEA Engineer, conducting structural analysis of battery packs for electric vehicles and front-end modules, and contributed to a patent for a latch cover clip design. Earlier experience includes a position as an FEA Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services from December 2015 to November 2019, focusing on load cases for electric vehicle battery packs and incorporating skills in model building and durability testing. Sharon holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in Machine Design from the University of Kerala and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calicut.
