Tamer Elshaeir

Tamer Elshaeir has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Director of Group IS Application Development Center at Valeo since December 2005. Tamer has held multiple leadership roles, including CDV R&D Excellence Head and Senior Software Department Manager/Department Head Deputy, overseeing the development of advanced software for Active Safety Product Lines that leverage front camera, radar, and laser scanner sensors. Prior positions include Software Department Manager, leading teams in the Switching and Smart Control Product Line, and earlier roles as a Software Team Leader and Embedded Software Engineer focusing on various software engineering aspects. Tamer began professional experience as a Teacher Assistant at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport. Education includes a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Paris ESLSCA Business School and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport. Additional executive development training was completed at CEDEP in Fontainebleau in 2014.
