Jean Drolet

Jean Drolet has extensive experience in sales and marketing leadership within the energy sector, currently serving as Vice President of Sales Marketing for Canada and the Northeast US at Valero Energy Corporation since January 2011. Prior roles include Vice President of Wholesale Sales & Marketing, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing wholesale, commercial, industrial, and home comfort groups, as well as a special mandate in London, UK, focused on operational reviews and strategic planning. Before Valero, Jean held significant positions at Ultramar from 2003 to 2011, managing heating and distribution for a large customer base and developing service station networks. Earlier career experience includes serving as Regional Director for Quebec at General Motors from 1994 to 1998. Jean's academic background includes a Bachelor in Commerce from McGill University and various degrees in health sciences and secondary education.
