Jen Swenton

Jen Swenton is an accomplished technical director with extensive experience in the refining industry, currently serving at Valero since September 2012. Swenton has held various leadership roles, including Complex Manager at the Ardmore refinery, focusing on key operations such as HF Alkylation and Benzene Saturation, as well as managing process engineering teams. Prior roles include supporting planning and optimization across multiple Gulf Coast refineries and contributing to refinery scheduling and blending operations. Swenton's career began with internships at ConocoPhillips and Sunoco LP, followed by a position as a process engineer at bp. An academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from the University of Houston.
